I just wanted to let you know how much EquestrianCoach has meant to me. I'm a 48 year old mom who started riding 5 years ago. I did the hunters for a while, but being blessed with a lovely and versatile horse, as well some masterful instructors, I've been fortunate enough to make it to the high ch/adult jumpers at "AA" shows. So often I have had silly questions that I don't want to ask, because I've obviously missed some fact along the way. Your videos are the perfect solution. I've watched almost all of them at least once. I just watched the second part of walking the course from WEF last winter, and I was pleased at how much of it I knew and/or understood. I often watch things one frame at a time, especially if a horse if jumping through a series of jumps, in order to see exactly what you are pointing out. For me it has been the perfect supplement to my regular lessons and has brought a much sharper focus to my flat work practice. I'm sure the videos take a lot of time, and the contributions of many, to produce, but the result is outstanding. Thank you so much!
You have provided our world with an option for education that is not otherwise available - wrapped it up with modern technology and made it affordable. Tremendous that someone with your level of knowledge and connections took this on and continues to expand.
I absolutely love this site for so many reasons, and as an instructor living in an extremely rural area of the Pacific Northwest, it is my lifeline to the outside world! I have a group of riders of varying levels that take dressage lessons from me each week, and it's great to get a fresh perspective on the exercises we work on.
My favorite thing about EquestrianCoach is all the amazing videos and the amazing riders and trainers! These video topics are so helpful and useful to anyone who rides! Beginner to Grand Prix! They are easy to relate to and you will always find something to learn or something to fix! For example in this picture if your horse decides to 'dolphin' like this, then having good balance and position is needed and these videos show so many great ways to build on that!!! That is why I LOVE EquestrianCoach!

Equestriancoach is one of the most informative sites and best values, that I have ever come across. I love the choices of presenters, and the up close and personal interviews and training tips. As a trainer in Alaska, one can feel somewhat disconnected.... that is until you can bring Bernie Traurig, George Morris, Laura Kraut, Denny Emmerson, Julie Winkle into your living room via the computer screen. The quality of instruction on EquestrianCoach is just superb. What an amazing resource!!! And MUCH needed, to be sure. I’m back in the saddle after a 20 year hiatus, and as a Pony Clubber who grew up admiring The Great Riders, and Coaches, of decades past, have been less than impressed by the current general level of knowledge and apparent dwindling understanding of Horsemanship overall. I have been showing in the Hunter/Jumper ring for 8 years and riding for 9. I currently ride show jumpers at the Grand Prix level thanks to Bernie's system. I study between 1-3 videos on EquestrianCoach.com two nights a week. When I finish with a video, I watch it all over again and find that I learn something new after each viewing. The videos on Equestriancoach.com are easy to understand and I get to work at my own pace with each individual horse, from barley broke to Grand Prix level. I personally recommend Equestrian Coach to anyone who wants to become a better rider at any level. I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for such a wonderful experience in New Jersey [at the East Coast Workshop] in December. I have found that I always take so much away from the lessons with you; I learn so much while I am there but you explain it in a way that I am always able to continue to improve upon the things we work on once I get home. I have had that big bay horse for a while. I have struggled so much with that one over the past few years since his surgery. I have just constantly felt like something was missing. Something clicked after you rode him and i was able to see the indirect rein aid and it has been such a positive curve every day since I have gotten home. I have made more progress in the last month than I have in the past two years, but most of all I feel like I have a partner again as he is happy and working with me instead of against me. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity. I was telling some of the people at the barn about the clinic and I was only half-joking when I said, “Bernie is like a wizard!” Thank you so much for all you do.
