What People Are Saying About Us

Paul Cronin Testimonial

Paul Cronin

“Bernie Traurig is an exceptionally talented and successful National/International rider and trainer who shares with us his system of riding and schooling horses. These high quality video presentations are brimming with straightforward instruction, excellent demonstrations, and insightful comments.  They are a valuable resource for teachers, serious riders, and for a range of Educational Equestrian Programs.

Based on the American Forward Riding System, EquestrianCoach.com is currently the most important contribution to college equine-education curricula in this 21st century. With his focus being toward a quality performance over jumps as the main objective in his flatwork schooling, Traurig shows us, step by step, the modern schooling of the horse to improve movement, balance, and agility.  His riders illustrate correct position, based upon the stirrup, and effective aids on the flat, as well as over fences.

Throughout, we see the rider’s controls applied and demonstrated in a technique appropriate to the level of schooling being demonstrated. Riders from Novice to Advanced will find this complete system of Riding and Schooling invaluable.”

I love the whole concept of EquestrianCoach.com!! I especially love all the great gymnastic/grid work ideas. My horse loves gymnastics and I am always looking for new and interesting challenges for us. Because I usually have to meet my trainer at shows, I love that there is a site available to turn to which gives me "homework" to work on between shows or lessons with my trainer. Thank you for such a wonderful site!

I love my horse and how she allows me to practice all the fabulous tips we learn on Equestrian Coach, she never fails to try her hardest!

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for such a wonderful experience in New Jersey [at the East Coast Workshop] in December. I have found that I always take so much away from the lessons with you; I learn so much while I am there but you explain it in a way that I am always able to continue to improve upon the things we work on once I get home. I have had that big bay horse for a while. I have struggled so much with that one over the past few years since his surgery. I have just constantly felt like something was missing. Something clicked after you rode him and i was able to see the indirect rein aid and it has been such a positive curve every day since I have gotten home. I have made more progress in the last month than I have in the past two years, but most of all I feel like I have a partner again as he is happy and working with me instead of against me. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity. I was telling some of the people at the barn about the clinic and I was only half-joking when I said, “Bernie is like a wizard!” Thank you so much for all you do.

Just want to thank Equestrian Coach as I moved to CA back in Sept. and due to reestablishing my business have been unable to be in training. Equestrian Coach has given me tons of tips and exercises to work on that makes me feel that I have still been moving forward with my riding this year. Thank you!!

I love the how Equestriancoach builds upon the basics, always explained and demonstrated clearly. Also love the old videos and pictures! Keep up the excellent work!!!!!

My favorite thing about EquestrianCoach is all the amazing videos and the amazing riders and trainers! These video topics are so helpful and useful to anyone who rides! Beginner to Grand Prix! They are easy to relate to and you will always find something to learn or something to fix! For example in this picture if your horse decides to 'dolphin' like this, then having good balance and position is needed and these videos show so many great ways to build on that!!! That is why I LOVE EquestrianCoach!

What a great job you have done, I especially like the part where you include another rider along with you on the video topics you do. Chock full of info, many require multiple reviews to let it all sink in. Outstanding opportunity for horsemen when classical instruction opportunities are few and far between.

What I like best about EquestrianCoach.com: Short educational videos PACKED with useful information. Easy to navigate site. Variety of coach input. Keeps my lesson plans fresh while building on the basics.

What I like best about EquestrianCoach.com is the easy access to coaches, clinics, lessons, blogs and training articles that can be found on the site. A tremendous plus to those of us training on a budget that would not normally allow us the ability to clinic with some of these great trainers.

I really enjoy the information given on Equestrian Coach, as well as the quality and ease of use for all the videos. This means a lot to me owning a video production company!  I put into practice much of the exercises with my horse and have found them so beneficial!

I love all the valuable information that this site has provided for me. It is great!!

I cannot tell you how much I learned from and enjoyed the videos on TMJ. They were so thorough, so informative..I can't wait to check my horse's sensitivity. So well done!

"I sat down to watch one video, and an hour later I had watched about five,” said Steve McAllister of Martin McAllister Training about his introduction to EquestrianCoach.com. “Jenni and I told all our clients that they need to subscribe, and that first night of viewing videos I signed up for a year. Bernie supports what we teach, and I learned things that will help me coach my riders better and prepare my horses better."

I have been showing in the Hunter/Jumper ring for 8 years and riding for 9. I currently ride show jumpers at the Grand Prix level thanks to Bernie's system. I study between 1-3 videos on EquestrianCoach.com two nights a week. When I finish with a video, I watch it all over again and find that I learn something new after each viewing. The videos on Equestriancoach.com are easy to understand and I get to work at my own pace with each individual horse, from barley broke to Grand Prix level. I personally recommend Equestrian Coach to anyone who wants to become a better rider at any level. Thank you Bernie for sharing your incredible horse knowledge and riding system with me and all my barn friends.

It is exciting to see a rider of Bernie Traurig’s caliber and knowledge providing the global equestrian world with a “user friendly” internet based system for schooling the horse and rider. This site with its high quality video segments and rational progression for the development of both horse and rider is a powerful resource for all equestrians regardless of level or discipline. Additionally, Equestrian Coach.com brings in outside experts to supplement Bernie’s fundamental training philosophy with current trends or new approaches to resolving problems. Hence, the site is not a static source of information but a very dynamic source of information which will grow with time as additional information is identified and added.

I love Bernie Traurig's videos on EquestrianCoach, it is like having him home for private clinics even though we are hundred of miles away ... I live in Québec, Canada ... Wonderful training tool!

I just wanted to let you know how much EquestrianCoach has meant to me. I'm a 48 year old mom who started riding 5 years ago. I did the hunters for a while, but being blessed with a lovely and versatile horse, as well some masterful instructors, I've been fortunate enough to make it to the high ch/adult jumpers at "AA" shows. So often I have had silly questions that I don't want to ask, because I've obviously missed some fact along the way. Your videos are the perfect solution. I've watched almost all of them at least once. I just watched the second part of walking the course from WEF last winter, and I was pleased at how much of it I knew and/or understood. I often watch things one frame at a time, especially if a horse if jumping through a series of jumps, in order to see exactly what you are pointing out. For me it has been the perfect supplement to my regular lessons and has brought a much sharper focus to my flat work practice. I'm sure the videos take a lot of time, and the contributions of many, to produce, but the result is outstanding. Thank you so much!
