Paul Cronin Testimonial

“Bernie Traurig is an exceptionally talented and successful National/International rider and trainer who shares with us his system of riding and schooling horses. These high quality video presentations are brimming with straightforward instruction, excellent demonstrations, and insightful comments. They are a valuable resource for teachers, serious riders, and for a range of Educational Equestrian Programs.
Based on the American Forward Riding System, EquestrianCoach.com is currently the most important contribution to college equine-education curricula in this 21st century. With his focus being toward a quality performance over jumps as the main objective in his flatwork schooling, Traurig shows us, step by step, the modern schooling of the horse to improve movement, balance, and agility. His riders illustrate correct position, based upon the stirrup, and effective aids on the flat, as well as over fences.
Throughout, we see the rider’s controls applied and demonstrated in a technique appropriate to the level of schooling being demonstrated. Riders from Novice to Advanced will find this complete system of Riding and Schooling invaluable.”

What I love about Equestrian Coach is that your videos give me exercises I can use at home that are safe for both horse and rider and benefit me in the show ring... Thank you!
What a terrific site... It's like being able to enroll in the "Jumper University" of my dreams...
I have just joined EquestrianCoach.com. These videos are really an outstanding resource. Kudos to all.
What I like best about EquestrianCoach.com is that it gives me a bunch of new ideas of things to work on at home. Tons of exercises for both horse and rider!
I love your website, as a rider who can't afford the traditional form of coaching, EquestrianCoach allows me access to top coaches without breaking my bank account. A bonus to watching videos and "doing it yourself" is that is encourages critical thinking.
I love my horse and how she allows me to practice all the fabulous tips we learn on Equestrian Coach, she never fails to try her hardest!
My favorite thing about EquestrianCoach, besides all of the news and great positive instruction available, is the old video footage of great horses and performances from the past. Then there are the video comparisons of different disciplines of riding....I think it is always great for people to see that good training & riding transcends the type of saddle you sit on. I could go on and on...
I cannot tell you how much I learned from and enjoyed the videos on TMJ. They were so thorough, so informative..I can't wait to check my horse's sensitivity. So well done!
Equestrian Coach is an invaluable resource for both amateurs and professionals. Bernie has taken his brilliantly simple common sense horsemanship and conveys it in a way that can be useful to riders and instructors of all levels. His knowledge combined with the insight from some of the leading riders and trainers today has provided me with a trustworthy source to which I can refer for any question that I may have, as well as for my continuing education.
I just wanted to let you know how much EquestrianCoach has meant to me. I'm a 48 year old mom who started riding 5 years ago. I did the hunters for a while, but being blessed with a lovely and versatile horse, as well some masterful instructors, I've been fortunate enough to make it to the high ch/adult jumpers at "AA" shows. So often I have had silly questions that I don't want to ask, because I've obviously missed some fact along the way. Your videos are the perfect solution. I've watched almost all of them at least once. I just watched the second part of walking the course from WEF last winter, and I was pleased at how much of it I knew and/or understood. I often watch things one frame at a time, especially if a horse if jumping through a series of jumps, in order to see exactly what you are pointing out. For me it has been the perfect supplement to my regular lessons and has brought a much sharper focus to my flat work practice. I'm sure the videos take a lot of time, and the contributions of many, to produce, but the result is outstanding. Thank you so much!
I just watched two videos and feel like I have already gotten much more than my monies' worth. The Denny Emerson video about jumping ahead of the horse was the most useful instruction I have heard in a long time. Bernie's video on hands was great as well. I am very pleased to have purchased a membership. Thanks for creating this educational tool. For those of us with a limited income and/or in an isolated rural community it is a life line!
This website is such a wonderful tool. I watch a new one every morning and practice. It has helped me not get so frustrated with myself and realize once I am stronger and more balanced, EVERY part of my ride is better for my horse and me! So, Thanks!!!
I just want to say, that Bernie's coaching videos are excellent. He breaks everything down into digestible segments that are visually easy to follow, without dumbing down the instruction. I would jump (no pun intended) at the chance to clinic with Bernie. Thanks for these videos.
My favorite thing about the site is that any time I have a question or issue while schooling horses at work, I can find the answer from these videos! I am learning from the best, riders that I look up to and who's footsteps I am following, and I would not have that opportunity without EquestrianCoach.com! We are never finished learning about horses, and this site (by having new videos and topics all the time) is never finished sharing their knowledge with us 🙂 Thank you!!
I love that a site like EquestrianCoach exists. When you're on a layoff from riding due to various reasons, (school, family priorities, monetary issues, injury etc.) I still feel connected to my passion/lifestyle and feel like I'm always learning something.
I am absolutely loving the web site. I love your teaching and communication style! Thank you for doing this! Friend request sent to, btw.
I love your site! It is loaded with excellent practical advice applicable to both beginner and novice riders. Myself and my horses thank you.
I have been showing in the Hunter/Jumper ring for 8 years and riding for 9. I currently ride show jumpers at the Grand Prix level thanks to Bernie's system. I study between 1-3 videos on EquestrianCoach.com two nights a week. When I finish with a video, I watch it all over again and find that I learn something new after each viewing. The videos on Equestriancoach.com are easy to understand and I get to work at my own pace with each individual horse, from barley broke to Grand Prix level. I personally recommend Equestrian Coach to anyone who wants to become a better rider at any level. Thank you Bernie for sharing your incredible horse knowledge and riding system with me and all my barn friends.
I am so excited about my subscription to your website. Spent at least an hour on it the first night. I am a real fan of the effort. Thank you again!
Your website is a great resource, I refer to it almost daily. Also I think it is beyond awesome that you are making yourself available for questions from regular folks, amazing!
